Whether you're just beginning your weight loss journey or you're an existing member looking for a refill, Ahvina is here to make every step smooth, supportive, and personalized. Here's exactly what to expect along the way.


Step 1: Start with the Intake Form

Your Ahvina journey begins with a quick and easy intake form.

✅ It takes just a few minutes
✅ You'll share your health history and goals
✅ This helps our board-certified providers understand what treatment is right for you

This is the first step toward creating a safe, effective, and tailored GLP-1 plan just for you.


Step 2: Provider Review + Confirmation Email

Once your form is submitted, you’ll receive an intake confirmation email. At this stage:

📩 A licensed provider reviews your information
📞 If needed, they may reach out for a quick virtual consultation
🔔 You’ll also receive reminders for any upcoming appointments

This ensures your treatment is safe, medically appropriate, and fully customized to your needs.


Step 3: You’re Approved – Welcome to Ahvina!

Once approved, it’s official — you’re part of the Ahvina family!

You’ll receive:
🔑 A welcome email with your login for portal.ahvina.com
📱 Instructions for accessing the Ahvina App
💬 A follow-up email from your doctor with next steps and instructions

If lab work is needed, your provider will guide you on where to go — or you can submit recent labs if they meet our requirements.

Your prescription details will then be sent to:
A trusted GLP-1 compounding pharmacy
Your local pharmacy for anti-nausea medication (if applicable)


Step 4: Your Medication Ships

Once everything is approved and processed:

📦 Your GLP-1 medication is shipped directly to your home
🚚 You’ll get tracking information so you can follow your delivery
🏪 Your anti-nausea medication is sent to your chosen local pharmacy for easy pickup

Simple, secure, and stress-free.


Step 5: Need a Refill? Here’s What to Do

Refills are available once you’ve completed:

✅ 3 doses (for injections)
✅ Or 3 weeks of oral GLP-1 use

Around day 23 after your last shipment, you'll receive a refill reminder via email or SMS. This includes a check-in form and next steps.

You can also request a refill anytime in one of three ways:

🔁 Log into the Ahvina Portal → Go to Appointments > Schedule Now
📝 Use the direct refill formahvina.com/refill/intake-transition
📲 Wait for your reminder email or SMS with a direct link

Tip: You must complete 3 full doses before becoming eligible for a refill.

Step 6: Refill Approved – Repeat the Process

Just like your initial prescription, a provider will review your refill request or meet with you if needed.

Once approved:

📩 You’ll get a confirmation email
📦 Your next shipment will be on its way
